Gênes De Nîmes® is the original word for "Jeans Denim". The legend says the sailors from the Italian port of "Gênes" wore slacks in a fabric coming from "Nîmes" in France. With time, the pronounciation of "Gênes" became Jeans and "de Nîmes" became Denim.
